Tea Dance

The Tea Dance is a volunteer lead activity. We have a qualified dance instructor. It is for everyone in the community, attended mostly by the elderly some with dementia and people / children with learning difficulties but also people wanting to dance get fit and socialise. We have volunteers but if someone normally has a carer they must come with them. There is no charge but we do have a collection box that we rely on people giving to. People…

Shushokan comes from the statement ‘shusho ichi no otoshi’ which can be translated as ‘effort and result are one’. This statement sums up the Shushokan philosphy and approach to its Karate. It also closely mirrors the philosphy of both the late Tani Sensei and Yamada Sensei.

Tea Dance

The Tea Dance is a volunteer lead activity. We have a qualified dance instructor. It is for everyone in the community, attended mostly by the elderly some with dementia and people / children with learning difficulties but also people wanting to dance get fit and socialise. We have volunteers but if someone normally has a carer they must come with them. There is no charge but we do have a collection box that we rely on people giving to. People…

Shushokan Karate

Shushokan comes from the statement ‘shusho ichi no otoshi’ which can be translated as ‘effort and result are one’. This statement sums up the Shushokan philosphy and approach to its Karate. It also closely mirrors the philosphy of both the late Tani Sensei and Yamada Sensei.

National Birth Trust – NCT

Come along to our NCT Bumps and Babies group, at Bridges Community Centre in Monmouth. We will be there from 10.30 until 12noon with lots of toys for the little ones, tea, coffee and snacks ☕?! You don’t have to be an NCT member to attend, we simply ask for a £2 donation to cover costs.
